UNSW Portfolio Entry Info Evening & Workshop

At these interactive sessions, you'll get tips and examples on what you need to submit and how to apply. Get all your questions answered by UNSW staff and academics. Whitehouse Institute of Design - July Holiday Workshops
Fashion Illustration Winter Workshop - Sydney Campus Mon 15th Jul 2024, 9:30 am - 3:00 pm AEST $99 This workshop is for aspiring designers and recommended as a starting point for those wanting to develop their fashion illustration skills for applications to the Bachelor of Design program. In this full day workshop, you will gain an understanding of how to illustrate with marker, experiment with different multi-media materials and learn techniques for presenting your creative ideas. This workshop focuses on the following areas of skill development including:
- Drawing the human body as a fashion figure including proportions and stylised poses
- Rendering different fabrics with tonal and textural illustration techniques
- Application of pencils, professional markers and fine line pens for professional rendering
- Exploring an individual design aesthetic
This workshop will have a focus on Fashion Illustration but is available to all specialisations. At the end of this workshop, you will have covered illustration content ready for an application to study a creative degree. Resources will be provided for you, however, please bring the following to participate: 2B lead pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Glue Stick or Double-Sided Tape, Scissors, Ruler, Coloured Pencils/Markers, Black Fine Line Pen.
Academy of Interactive Entertainment
The Academy of Interactive Entertainment is offering a variety of school holiday workshops at their Sydney campus.
- Holiday courses run from 9.30am until 4.30pm.
- All participants will receive a certificate of completion.
- Students are encouraged to bring a USB stick to save their work.
