Sport is an integral and compulsory part of the school’s curriculum. It is run on Tuesday afternoons from 1 pm until 2:50 pm for Years 7 to 10.
We ask parents/carers to recognise sport as an integral part of the school day and to avoid scheduling appointments or other commitments that conflict with this curriculum requirement.
Years 7 Sport
Year 7 sport will be conducted at school. Year 7 students will compete in their house groups in a variety of different sporting competitions. Sport conducted at school will not incur a fee/charge.

School based sports will concentrate on various skills which will be able to be put to use in team games. Students will rotate between sports every week and sports will be changed each term.
Year 7 students also have the opportunity to try out for the Dance Ensembles, Water polo teams and participate in Gymnastics and Tennis.
Years 8, 9 and 10 recreation sport
Years 8, 9 and 10 can choose to do a selection of sports throughout the year. Selections are made online using a unique login and they are to select one sport per term. Costs vary according to the selected sport, with bus travel and some venues needing payment on a weekly basis.

Students can also be involved in the 'Kirrawee Friends' program run during sport with Bates Drive Public School.
