Attending camp was an exciting and memorable experience for the students, offering them opportunities for personal growth, adventure, and the chance to build new friendships.
As they stepped away from their usual routines, they found themselves bonding with classmates they hadn’t spent much time with before. Sharing cabins, helping each other during meal duties, and working together in team challenges helped them connect on a deeper level.
Many students made new friends through shared laughs, encouragement, and trust. One of the highlights of the camp was the high ropes course, where students had to push past their fears and rely on both their own courage and the support of their peers. Another popular activity was the Giant Swing and the Goliath, which saw students harnessed and pulled high into the air before releasing and swinging through the sky. The screams of excitement—and sometimes fear—quickly turned into laughter and pride. These physically and mentally challenging activities boosted students’ confidence and helped them realise their own resilience. For many, it was also their first time staying away from home, which added to their independence. By the end of camp, the students returned with new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a strong sense of achievement.
