On Friday, 14th February, we had the pleasure of taking 31 of our dance students to the Seymour Centre to experience the 2024 Callback performance. Callback is a prestigious event celebrating the outstanding talent of students who presented their work as part of the 2024 Higher School Certificate Dance Practical Examinations. This showcase featured exemplary dance performances, compositions, and films from students across New South Wales, representing all school systems.
Our students were captivated by the incredible talent on display, gaining valuable insight into the high standards and outcomes of HSC Dance. The showcase not only inspired our dancers but also provided a deeper understanding of the dedication and creativity required to excel in the course.
We were incredibly proud of our students for the way they represented our school and adapted seamlessly when we had to make a quick transport pivot due to the train strike. Their enthusiasm, respect, and engagement throughout the day were fantastic to see. They made the most of the experience and came away feeling motivated and excited about their own dance journey.
