It was a beautiful day at Caringbah Leisure Centre for the 2025 KHS Swimming Carnival.
Congratulations to Mr Williamson (Sports Organiser) for his great organisation of another KHS swimming carnival. The traditional 'lap swim of honour' by our Year 12s was a highlight and the 'Hawaiian' theme was well supported by staff and students. It was so fantastic to see all Year 12 enjoying a great day for their very last KHS swimming carnival.
Some fantastic results from our competitive swimmers and fun novelty events for all.
The day began with all Year 7 completing their swim test and finished with a house relay and Year 12 leadership team vs house captains relay. Well done to Serpentine who are our 2025 KHS Champion House.
Congratulations to the number of competitive swimmers who pushed personal bests in some competitive races especially in the 50m freestyle where students were competing for the highly sort after position in the KHS relay teams. Kirrawee has a proud tradition of swimming champions and outstanding relay teams in all age groups.
Well done to all the swimmers who will now represent Kirrawee High School at the Sutherland Zone Swimming Carnival later this term. Kirrawee HS will send a very strong team to the Sutherland Zone Carnival. Swimmers who finished 1st and 2nd in all races and top 4 in the 50m freestyle will be selected in the KHS team to compete at Zone.
