On Thursday 10 April, Kirrawee High School held our ANZAC Day assembly. The service was lead by our school leaders, captains Taylor Harding and Luka Ford and vice-captains Mika Faass and Audrey Lenzo.
During the service, students were encouraged to reflect on the sacrifices made by the ANZACs at Gallipoli, marking 110 years since the landing, and by all service members in other conflicts and peacekeeping missions.
Willow Chapman and Erika Beaupark gave the Acknowledgement of Country, and the wreath was laid by Joshua Pearce and May Deilamy Moezzi.
Billie-Rose Brotherson performed a beautiful rendition of 'Change In Me' and the Australian National Anthem, while Eitan Faass performed the Last Post and the Reveille.
