What an awesome event!!!
We would like to take the opportunity to congratulate all of the finalists from this year's KHS Maths Competition. It was a fantastic event, showcasing the mathematical talent and dedication of our students.
A special congratulations to James Sant (Year 10), who has won the competition for the second year in a row! James's commitment to excellence and his passion for mathematics continue to inspire us all.
We also want to highlight the incredible efforts of Will Pearce (Year 10), who has competed in the final for an impressive three consecutive years, and Keira Cook (Year 9), a finalist for the second year running. Their consistency and determination are a testament to their hard work and numeracy skills.
Every finalist deserves to be proud of their achievements, and we commend all of you for your hard work and perseverance. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this year’s competition such a success.
A big thank you also to Mr Hunt for his time and dedication towards running both pre rounds and the final event today. Your efforts and contribution are much appreciated by all students and staff involved. Also, a big thanks to Ms Lacey and her Year 12 VET Entertainment class for their support with the technology and running of the event behind the scenes.
Once again, congratulations to James, Will, Keira, and all our finalists. We look forward to seeing even more exciting and tough competition next year! Keep up the brilliant work, KHS Mathematicians!
