As the morning clouds parted, Year 7 students were treated to an extraordinary day of hands-on learning at the Kamay Environment Centre in Kurnell. Guided by the knowledgeable rangers of the Environmental Education Centre (EEC), students engaged in a series of interactive experiences that brought history and the natural environment to life. From exploring the rich cultural heritage of the area to discovering the unique ecosystems that define the region, the excursion offered a memorable and immersive educational experience. The day not only deepened their understanding of history but also fostered a greater appreciation for the environment.
