On Thursday 11 April, Kirrawee High School held our ANZAC Day assembly. The service was lead by our school leaders, captains Molly Fitzpatrick and Patrick Pike and vice-captains Anaya Ghelani and Taj Bennett.
During the service, students were encouraged to reflect on the experiences of Australia's Aboriginal servicepeople during the World Wars and the role our Peacekeepers have played in maintaining security in Timor-Leste.
Antonio Beaupark gave the Acknowledgement of Country, and the wreath was laid by Hamish Macdonald and Erika Beaupark.
Tiana Bishara and Lola Faass performed a beautiful rendition of 'We Are Australian', while Eitan Faass performed the Last Post and the Reveille.
