The Student Environment Team and Year 12 VET Entertainment Team collaborated to create an imaginative, interactive, and informative experience for the Year 7 students.
The immersive presentation celebrated the beauty of our oceans while also highlighting the critical challenges they currently face. Students explored practical solutions we can all adopt, such as Take 3 for the Sea, responsible fishing practices, and free recycling soft plastics through the Sutherland Shire Recycle Smart partnership https://www.recyclesmart.com/
The presentation concluded with SEC students sharing their insights on the UN High Seas Treaty, which Australia has signed but not yet ratified.
