Congratulations to the Open Girls Water Polo Team
NSW CHS SILVER MEDALLIST
On Thursday 30 and Friday 31 March, the Open Girls Water Polo Team travelled to Lambton for the finals of the Open Girls NSW CHS Knockout.
After a tough semi final the girls progressed to the State Final where they meet Albury HS.
Two outstanding teams, with the score drawn at full time, they decided the medals through a Penalty Shoot Out. Unfortunately our team was narrowly beaten and were awarded the SILVER Medal
A fantastic result, continuing the great tradition of KHS Success in the sport of Water Polo.

Team - Layla Barclay, Sienna Kell, Monique Westwood, Lily Johnson. Halle Johmson. Mina Wood, Olivia Mustapic, Alexandra Hails, Zoe Cole, Imogen Lancaster, Aurora Ewings.
Special mention to Olivia and Imogen, both cast members of The Addams Family, the girls came up between performances to represent the school.
Finally to our Year 12 students that represented KHS in Water Polo for the final time - Layla, Sienna and Monique. The girls are three outstanding representatives of Kirrawee High School. All girls have represented KHS since Year 7 and have been intergral members of many successful U15's and Open Teams. The girls are wonderful role models to junior students and will be most definitely missed in our Water Polo Teams.
