Fantastic Industrial Technology Projects

A big congratulations to Jordan Conley and Wes Phillips of Year 10 Industrial Technology Timber.

Both students created an outstanding Bedside Table.

Manufacturing processes included:

- mortise and tenon joints for the bottom rails

- sliding dovetail joints for the top rails

- biscuit joints as the widening joints for the top

- wax was used a finish

- task extension component: rebated drawer

These students demonstrated their enthusiasm and commitment to this project by putting in extra time before and after school and pushing their capabilities to ensure they completed their project to a high standard.
