Australia All Schools Athletics Championships - DUAL AUSTRALIAN CHAMPION

 Zoran Szekeres of Year 9 and Izobelle Louison Roe of year 10 both represented the NSW All Schools Team at the Australian All Schools Championships in Adelaide. (9 - 11 December) . 

The championship had  not been held since 2019 so it was the first time both Izobelle and Zoran had competed at this prestigious competition.

The events ran from Friday through to Sunday. Only 2 athletes per event/age group from each state were  selected to complete.  Selection was based on performances at the NSW All Schools Championships.

It is so fantastic to have two athletes representing at this very high level.

Zoran competed in the U15 Boys Discus and finished 4th

Izobelle competed in the U16 Girls 200m Hurdles, Triple Jump and High Jump.  Izobelle had an amazing meet and is now the Australian High Jump and Triple Jump Champion winning GOLD in both events.  She also ran a pb to win  SILVER in the 200m Hurdles.
