Year 12 Textiles 'Strike A Pose'

Year 12 Textiles and Design students went on an excursion this week into the city to gain inspiration for their upcoming major projects.

Students had the opportunity to visit Orana Fashion Business College for a campus tour to find out more about post school options to fashion design, such as fashion styling, marketing and creative direction. We then went to MAAS Powerhouse museum to see the new 'Gucci Garden' exhibition, and finally to watch the final year students of Sydney Tafe FDS (fashion design studio) parade their final assessment task pieces.

The fashion show was presented by professional models with lighting and DJ music, and the designs paraded were unique, interesting and very inspiring!
