A most worthy recipient of this award. We can’t wait to follow your promising netball career in the future and wish you all the best with your sporting endeavours.

Charles

Charles Johnston

Congratulations to Charles Johnston 2021 Senior Male Sports Star.

Charles excels in a range of Sports in particular Basketball, Hockey and Cricket. He has been a member of all these school teams throughout high school and a member of the Championship Davidson Shield winning Cricket Teams. Charles has also represented Sydney East in all three sports.

This year both the CHS Basketball and Hockey Championships clashed and Charles made the difficult decision to compete at State Basketball. At this championship Charles was an integral member of the Sydney East Team that finished 3rd winning the CHS Bronze medal. His performances at this carnival led to Charles being selected in the NSW CHS Basketball Team that went on to win the NSW All Schools Basketball Championships. At this carnival his superior skills and natural ability led to his selection in the NSW All Schools Team.

This team is selected from the best Basketball players from all NSW Schools and is the highest sporting achievement in school sport for 2021.

Charles’ outstanding performances in Basketball in 2021 led to him being awarded the most prestigious Honour of a Sydney East Blue for Basketball.

Another outstanding KHS Athlete with an amazing sporting future ahead.
