Last week the senior Visual Arts classes attended the annual ArtExpress exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW, showcasing exemplary artwork from the 2024 NSW cohort.

The work this year was particularly expressive and innovative giving the yr12 students inspiration for their own Body of Works.

We then viewed an exhibition by contemporary artist Cao Fei who works with multi disciplinary expressive forms to comment on societal and personal issues. The North building was then explored including the beautiful Yiribana gallery where the students were able to see artwork by First Nations artists that directly related to their most recent case study.
