Kirrawee High School Honors Remembrance Day

1

On November 11, Kirrawee High School proudly participated in the Miranda RSL Remembrance Day Ceremony, commemorating the sacrifices of Australian servicemen and women. Representing the school with dignity and respect, Taylor Harding and Luka Ford attended the solemn occasion alongside their teacher, Ms. Prescott.

Taylor Harding took on the important role of reading the Prayer for the Nation, a heartfelt reflection honoring those who served and sacrificed for Australia's freedoms. Luka Ford laid a wreath on the Cenotaph, symbolizing Kirrawee High School's respect and gratitude for the fallen.

The ceremony served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of reflection and remembrance, allowing students to connect with the enduring legacy of service and sacrifice. Kirrawee High School extends its thanks to the Miranda RSL for hosting this significant event and for the opportunity to pay tribute as a school community.
