The NSW CHS Cross Country event, held on Friday, 21 July at Eastern Creek Raceway, proved to be a challenging competition for the athletes who qualified to participate. To earn a spot at this prestigious level, students needed to demonstrate their running prowess by progressing through the school, zone, and regional events. The event gathered the best runners from all across the state. 110 competitors from the Combined High Schools (CHS) and 10 from the each of the Catholic and Independent Systems are eligible to compete..
Among the many schools represented at the event, Kirrawee High School stood out with an impressive contingent of 10 talented athletes. These students had displayed exceptional dedication and determination to earn their spots on the Sydney East Team. Their hard work and commitment throughout the rigorous qualifying stages showcased their passion for the sport and their eagerness to compete against the very best in the state.
The challenging Eastern Creek Raceway course tested the mettle of every participant, but Kirrawee High School's representatives demonstrated great tenacity and skill as they raced against their peers.
