From the Beginning of Term 2, the school moved over to the School Bytes System for both payment and permission for all school activities and excursions.
This will mean the Sentral Parent Portal will no longer be used to give permission for activities and excursions. It will still be used to communicate, book parent teacher interviews, explain absences and view attendance records, view STARS and to access student academic reports.
Parents have been sent emails with instructions on how to access and set up a School Bytes Parent Portal account. The instructions to set up this portal can also be found here. Please note we are not using the School Bytes Portal for Attendance.
Parents are notified an activity requires payment and/or permission through an email from School Bytes. This system has previously only been used when making a payment but will now also include the permissions. This new process has been used successfully over the past few weeks.
Logging into the School Bytes System will allow parents to view all current activities their student is enrolled in that requires payment or permission.
The log in access to the parent portal can still be found here https://portal.schoolbytes.education and also on our school website. Once activities have passed they will be archived by the school and not appear on the school bytes portal. . Parents have the option to create a bookmark link on their mobile phone to allow easy access to the school bytes parent portal website (there is currently no app).
Students can still currently view their activities via the Student Sentral Portal and should inform staff if any activities they are involved in are not appearing.
