On Wednesday 7th March Year 10 went out of the school on their History/Geography excursion.
Our History students went to the Sydney Jewish Museum. This was to compliment the unit of work they are completing in class on the "Holocaust". Some were treated to a lecture by a specialist Holocaust Historian, a guide tour of the museum and most significantly were able to hear the personal story of a survivor.
Whilst History students were enjoying the museum, our Geography students were carrying out geographical fieldwork at Cronulla Beach. By gathering primary data and experiencing real world geographic inquiry methodologies, students unpacked the environmental processes that build our beaches and investigated the best methods for management and protection of this valued landscape.
