On Sunday 11 August, Music Room 3 came alive with the sounds of our Year 10 Music Showcase. Parents and friends filled the room, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere that made the afternoon feel special for performers and audience alike.
The students are to be congratulated on their enthusiasm and the way they embraced the opportunity to perform. It was fantastic to see them step forward with confidence, show their creativity, and share their music. From thoughtful solo pieces to lively group items, the program highlighted not only their musical skills but also their teamwork and willingness to give things a go.
The showcase celebrated the growth and development that Year 10 have shown in their music studies so far this year. Their ability to connect with the audience and perform with such spirit is a credit to the hard work they have put into preparing. We encourage them to continue building on this by working together, refining their preparation, and bringing the same energy and commitment into their future performances and studies.
A big thank you goes to the families and friends who came along to support the students, as well as Mrs Linda Fawer, who assisted on the night. Your encouragement plays an important role in building the confidence of our young performers.
Congratulations once again to the Year 10 students on a successful showcase! We are all proud of what you have achieved and look forward to future performances.
