A select group of Year 11 student leaders from Kirrawee High School participated in Leadership by the Bay, hosted at Sharks at Kareela. This annual event brought together student leaders from various schools across the Sutherland Shire to collaborate on initiatives aimed at fostering positive change in education.
Throughout the day, students engaged in a series of workshops and discussions focused on enhancing student voice, leadership skills, and community engagement. A highlight of the event was the opportunity for our students to mentor primary school leaders, assisting them in developing their Student Representative Council (SRC) initiatives for the upcoming school year.
The event not only provided a platform for our students to refine their leadership abilities but also allowed them to contribute meaningfully to the broader educational community. Their involvement exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and mentorship that Kirrawee High School strives to instill in its students.
