Students will either participate in a Sailing program run by Cronulla Sailing Club or observe.

Students will be travelling either on foot or by private vehicle to Kirrawee station.

Students will then catch the train to and from Cronulla. In the event of inclement weather, students may travel by private vehicle to and from Cronulla.

Students will need to have their prepaid OPAL cards, water bottles and lunch or money if they wish to purchase food. Students will have the opportunity to walk through Cronulla under the supervision of staff. 

Students will be back at school by 13:50. 

Students need to bring $5 cash each time to pay for the Sailability Program.

Venue:  Cronulla Sailing Club (50 Waratah St, Cronulla NSW 2230)

Transport:  Students will be travelling either on foot or by private vehicle to Kirrawee station.

They will be accompanied by a staff member.
Students will then catch the train to and from Cronulla. In the event of inclement weather, students may travel by private vehicle to and from Cronulla.
Students require a Child/Youth Opal card. (not the School Opal card) They will be accompanied by a staff member.

Dress Code:  Full sport uniform.

Food:  Food is available for purchase or students can bring their own.

Students are to Bring:  Opal card, hat, sunscreen and their lunch.

Additional Information:  For students who require the swim test, Mrs Saunders will conduct the test in the Gunnamatta pool prior to the sailing.

Students will need to bring their swimmers, a towel and a hair brush. 
Students requiring the swim test will be notified by Mrs Saunders.
In the case of a student not passing the swimming test, they will only participate in the walking and buying lunch part of the excursion and they will spectate during sailing time.
