Zoosnooze Overnight Camp

Students will participate in a unique overnight camping experience at Taronga Zoo 'Zoosnooze'. Students will engage in a variety of learning walks and be provided with information about the care and conservation of native animals and those from around the globe.

The program includes:

  • Afternoon tea on Tuesday
  • Dinner
  • Supper
  • Close encounter with some iconic Australian animals 
  • Breakfast
  • Early morning walking tour
  • Zoo entry the following day  
  • Lunch on Wednesday 
  • Transport to and from the venue

What to Bring:  Sleeping bag, pillow, torch, warm clothes, enclosed shoes, camera/phone, wet weather gear, and a sense of fun and adventure.  

Medications:  Please hand any medication/s to class teachers. Medication needs to be in original packaging, clearly labelled by the pharmacy, with student name and the attached medication form. 

Cost:  $238.00

Venue:  Taronga Zoo - Sydney (Bradleys Head Rd, Mosman NSW 2088)

Overnight Location:  Taronga Zoo

Transport:  Students will be transported by bus, at the conclusion of the school day on Tuesday April 1, to Taronga Zoo. Students will return to school by bus the following day, Wednesday April 2, at approximately 2.30 pm, where they will be able to be picked up by parents or leave as per usual at the conclusion of the school day.

Dress Code:  Smart casual clothing. 

Food:  Dinner and breakfast will be provided by the venue. Afternoon tea, supper and lunch the next day are included in the excursion cost.

Students are to Bring:  Appropriate warm up attire. Medication (if required). Rain gear/ Wet weather gear (if required). A small backpack. A list of what to bring will be sent separately to participating students.
