Year 8 French Little Snail Excursion: 8M and 8O

Students in 8M and 8O will travel to Town Hall by train and walk to the Little Snail restaurant at Pyrmont. This excursion will allow students to experience French food and use the language they have been learning this semester in class.

Cost:  $30.00

Venue:  Little Snail Pyrmont (50 Murray Street Pyrmont NSW - Sydney)

Transport:  Students will walk to Kirrawee train station after roll call.

Students will be catching the train to and from the venue. Students require a Child/Youth Opal card. (not the School Opal card) They will be accompanied by a staff member.

Students will be dismissed from Kirrawee train station after the excursion.

Dress Code:  Full school uniform.

Food:  Lunch will be provided.

Students are to Bring:  Opal Card - a valid Personal (not school) Opal Card preloaded with a minimum of $10 credit. Rain gear/ Wet weather gear (if required).

Educational Outcomes:  The current unit is focused on French food and this excursion will allow students an authentic experience to put their language into action.

Additional Information:   Please note for the return train journey: If you would like your child to alight from the train at a station other than Kirrawee, please indicate this on the consent form and write the name of the station where you would like your child to leave the train.

Students who do not have permission to alight from the train at any other station will return and be dismissed from Kirrawee Station.
