Activity Name:  Stand Tall Sydney 2024

Date/Time:   Thursday 6 June 2024 7:00am - 4:30pm (As tickets are paid for in advance there will be no refunds for non attendance on the day.)

Description:  This inspirational event for secondary students brings a host of speakers together in one room to arm students with the skills of resilience, the strength to stand up to bullying, the keys to motivation, the power of perspective and the benefits of making good and wise decisions. Stand Tall builds hope for the future, a vital component of teen mental wellbeing.

Students who do not attend the excursion will have a whole day of activities planned at school. Attendance at school for non-participants is expected.

Cost:  $19.00

Venue:  ICC Sydney (14 Darling Drive, Sydney NSW 2000)

Transport:  Students will be catching public transport to and from the venue. They will be accompanied by staff members.

Students will meet at Kirrawee Station to catch a chartered train included in the excursion cost to Central Station before walking to the ICC at Darling Harbour. Precise departure time will be confirmed closer to the excursion date.  Students are expected to arrive back at Kirrawee Station by 4pm via chartered train.

Dress Code:  Full school uniform.

Food:  Students must provide their own food and water as there will be no opportunities to purchase food.

Additional Information:  As this is a chartered train service, stops are limited. Students will be able to alight at Sutherland or Kirrawee station only, on their return at the end of the day.
