Year 10 Vaccinations - Meningococcal ACWY

Each year NSW Health works in partnership with schools to offer the vaccines recommended by the National Health and Medical Research Council for adolescents as part of the school vaccination program. 

Parent Information Kits that include an information sheet, consent form and privacy statement will be sent home to parents/carers  Monday 1 August and will need to be returned Friday 5 August.  

To consent to the vaccination of their child, parent/carers are advised to:

• Read all the information provided.
• Complete all the fields on the consent form, including signing their name next to the vaccine/s you would like your child to receive.
• Return the completed consent form to the school.
• Ensure that your child eats breakfast on the day of the school vaccination clinic.

Parents/carers who wish to withdraw their consent for any reason may do so by emailing the school at kirrawee-h.school@det.nsw.edu.au or by phoning the school on 9521 2099 and speak with Inga Christodoulou.
