Inclusive Education Unit - Community Access Term 3

During term 3, students from IEU stage 4 will participate in a Community Access Program. Students will walk from Kirrawee High School to Kirrawee train station and catch the train to Woolooware. From here we will join Woolooware High School Support Unit and walk to Woolooware Bay shops. Students will then have the opportunity to purchase their lunch and/or non-perishable products required for home (e.g. tissues, canned goods, pasta NOT junk food) before returning to school. As part of this program, students will be taught skills to develop independence, such as social skills while out in the community, using money to purchase foods/products and contributing to home life.

Students may bring their own food or may purchase. Students must bring their own water, money for lunch/shopping, a small backpack and should bring an Opal Card - a valid Personal (not school) Opal Card preloaded with a minimum of $10 credit.

Students are to wear full sport uniform including hat.
