Description:  ENCORE Showcase

The annual Encore concert showcases the outstanding musicianship of HSC students from NSW schools as singers, instrumentalists and composers. Presented by the NSW Education Standards Authority, Encore is an exciting opportunity for current music students, teachers and the general public to see and hear a selection of exemplary works presented for the 2023 Higher School Certificate Music examinations.

The program illustrates the range, variety and challenges offered by the three HSC Music courses across styles, genres and musical periods. Featuring solo and ensemble, vocal and instrumental works, there is something for everyone – from classics to jazz and contemporary music.

Cost:  $40.00

Venue:  Sydney Opera House (Bennelong Point, Sydney NSW 2000)

Transport:  Students will be catching the train from Sutherland Station. They will be accompanied by a staff member during the walk to and from the train station and while on the train.

Dress Code:  Smart casual clothing.

Food:  Students will be purchasing dinner in town.

Students are to Bring:  Money for dinner and any incidental purchases.
