Year 11 Camp - The Tops 2024

Year 11 Camp is undertaken to fulfil parts of the Compulsory Life Ready Course senior students must complete.

Cost:  $379.83

Overnight Location:  The Tops - Stanwell Tops

Transport:  Students will travel to and from the venue via chartered bus.

Dress Code:  Casual clothes and wear old sneakers that can get wet and muddy. See attached "What to bring list".

Food:  All meals will be provided. You must register for catering purposes.  See link below.

Educational Outcomes:  Life Ready is a mandatory 25-hour course designed to prepare and support senior students as they encounter situations related to health and safety as they become more independent and gain more responsibilities. It offers opportunities for students to build functional knowledge and skills for life post-school. Parts of the life-ready course are covered at camp. Students unable to attend will be given alternate work to meet the program's outcomes.

Student registration is a requirement of The Tops Conference Centre. Students who have not been registered are unable to attend the camp.

Permission to attend the camp is due by 16/09/24

Camp Registration with The Tops is due by 16/09/24

Payment can be made in one full amount or incrementally over time, with the total due by 16/09/24.

If applicable for your child, the Medication at Camp form needs to be returned to school by 16/09/24

If your student will not be attending the camp please select no on the consent form. Students not attending the camp will need to attend school as normal. Learning and supervision will be provided.
