On Wednesday 21 August, our Year 10 students had the invaluable opportunity to attend the B Street Smart road safety excursion at Qudos Bank Arena in Homebush. This engaging and eye-opening event provided our students with essential lessons on the dangers and responsibilities associated with driving and road safety.
Throughout the day, students witnessed realistic crash re-enactments, heard firsthand accounts from emergency service workers, and participated in interactive sessions that emphasized the importance of making safe choices on the road. The event was designed to instill a deep understanding of the consequences of dangerous driving behaviors and the critical role each individual plays in keeping our roads safe.
We are incredibly proud of the way our students conducted themselves during the excursion. They displayed maturity, respect, and a genuine willingness to learn, which was noted by the event organizers and staff alike. The lessons learned at B Street Smart will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on our students, helping them to become more responsible and aware drivers in the future.
