Female Senior Sports Star - Congratualtions Amelia Kirby

At the Year 11 Presentation held on Wednesday 9 November, Amelia Kirby was announced the 2022 Female Sports Person of the Year,

Amelia has had another amazing year in her KHS Sport Representation.

In 2022 Amelia was a member of 5 KHS sporting teams including football, touch, atlhetics, cross country and hockey.

She was the Kirrawee High School 17G Age Champion in Cross Country and Athletics as well as the Sutherland Zone 17G Athletics Age Champion.

Amelia's vast array of skill and fitness led to her selection in FOUR Sydney East teams including football, hockey, cross country and athletics.  Amelia competed at the four NSW State Championships with distinction and won 3 CHS medalis

Bronze in the  Sydney East Hockey Team

Silver in the 4x100m KHS 17G Relay Team

Bronze in the 17G 800m

A truely amazing athlete Amelia Kirby is a most worthy recipient of this prestigious award.
