yLead "Leadershift" Year 9 Incursion

"Leadershift" is a one-day workshop held at school on Wednesday 31st of August as part of your child's wellbeing and welfare development.

"Leadershift", presented by yLead, develops confident, resilient, positive and collaborative leaders. Through a fun and engaging experience students will learn how to strengthen their leadership capacity and become aware of the influence their actions have. Throughout the "Leadershift" experience students will:

* Identify five specific practical actions that every student can utilise to have positive influence 

* Understand that leadership is not just for senior students or those with a badge, rather for everyone to become aware of the influence they have through their positive choices and actions

* Develop positive team cohesion by exploring communication and collaboration through a range of problem solving activities

* Explore the direct relationship of attitude and results, creating greater accountability

* Feel empowered to have greater self-confidence in expressing their views and opinions

The cost per student for the "Leadershift" program is $25.
