Year 12 2023 Camp

The Tops Conference Centre

In order to promote unity within the Year 12 grade, the camp will be structured by running a variety of physical and team-building activities to build cohesion and support across all students. The camp is aimed to be a significant step in building and maintaining friendships and developing positive well-being within the year group. This camp will include participation in the compulsory module "Life Ready" and include study of organisation skills from Elevate.

Venue: The Tops Conference Centre - Stanwell Tops         

Transport: Coach to and from the venue

Time: Depart school at 8:30 am on Monday 10/10/22 and arrive back at school at 3:00 pm on Wednesday 12/10/22

Cost: $195 per student

Camp registration will occur online at a later stage.

Parents will be invoiced for payments and will be able to pay for the camp online or through the reception at the Front Office. Permission and full payments need to be given by 2nd September 2022, however, payments can be made in instalments via POP before the due date. What to bring/Equipment Required: 

Appropriate clothing 

* 2 T-shirts

* 2 pairs of shorts

* 1/2 long sleeve shirts or jumpers

* 1/2 pairs of long pants for cold weather

* Socks and underwear

* Hat 

* Raincoat

* Pyjamas

* Pillow and pillowcase

* Sleeping bag 

* Torch

* Water bottle

* Sunscreen

* Plastic bag for wet clothes

* 2 pairs of joggers (one old pair, no thongs)

* 2 towels (1 for inside and 1 outside)

* Medication

 

This excursion is being conducted with the permission of the principal

For NSW-based camps/excursions, anyone who shows symptoms or tests positive for COVID while on camp will need to isolate.  Parents will be expected to collect their child from camp should this occur.

Parents and students are reminded that this is a school activity and as such students are expected to follow our behaviour code for the duration of the camp. Please ensure your children do not bring illegal drugs, alcohol, vapes or other items to camp.
